Danar Mas is dedicated to manufacturing the finest products. We specialize in the production of yarns, utilized for various applications and in a wide range of industries.
Polyester yarns can be used for various applications in both the knitting and weaving processes. Once woven or knitted into fabrics, polyester is known for its high durability and cooling properties. The hydrophobic material does not wrinkle easily and is more resistant to stains and water.
Polyester and cotton blend threads are composed of a mixture of polyester and cotton fibers. Its dyeing applications provide the opportunity to dye the fibers of both its polyester and/or cotton side(s). The distinctive feature allows the mixture of colors, giving the fabric multiple “tones”. This thread is advantageous as it does not easily shrink when washed and is more resistant to detergents. In addition, the yarn’s polyester content makes it more wrinkle resistant compared to 100% cotton fabrics. Polyester-cotton yarn can be used in both knitting and weaving processes for various types of fabric applications.
This yarn is from a mixture of polyester and viscose rayon synthetic fibers. Like polyester cotton, polyester-rayon yarns can also be dyed in a combination of colors to achieve the multiple “tone” look. Once woven or knitted, polyester-rayon fabrics are generally comfortable to use for a long time, having properties that favor air circulation. As fabrics, poly rayon is also softer due to its high water absorption capacity.
Melange or misty yarns are developed in shades of gray, ranging from light to dark colors. There are various types of melange yarns composed of polyester, cotton, poly-cotton, rayon, or poly-rayon blends. For certain applications, melange fabrics only need to be finished with the washing and setting process. However, if a fabric from melange is dyed, it could result in a two-tone or even three-tone effect. The thread is generally used in the garment industry!
